When I first posted God’s Outrageous Universe it was for the purpose of declaring my faith in God revealed in the Judeo-Christian Bible. The title was inspired by Owen Gingerich, Professor of Astronomy and of the History of Science, Emeritus, at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics Science and author of God's Universe. The word “Science” has been badly abused during the pandemic to support political agendas and the belief system that science is the only truth. It is fair to say that we live in a pagan science illiterate culture. The result is that Christian beliefs based the Word of God in the Judeo-Christian Bible are challenged and maligned. I, Roland Otto, am a scientist and a Christian committed to the Word of God. The more science I lived; (I worked with two noble prize winner, one in nuclear science and one in cosmology (see link above for details, the more I was convince and strengthened in my Christian World view.) I want to share that strengthening with others through an online open forum of 30 minute Zoom sessions Monday through Thursday at 5 pm weekly.
